এখানে এলসি নাম্বার লিখা থাকে। সাধারণত LC নাম্বার ১২ ডিজিট হয়ে থাকে।প্রয়োজন সাপেক্ষে এলসি নাম্বার কম বেশি হতে পারে।

মজার বিষয় হলো এলসির কোন Clause দেখা ছাড়াই, শুধু এলসি নাম্বার দেখেই বলা যাবে এটি sight LC নাকি Deferred / UPAS LC.

এলসির প্রথম ৪ সখ্যা 1067 ( কম বেশি থাকতে পারে) দ্বারা ব্যাংক নাম ( ব্রাঞ্চের কোড) বুঝানো হয়, পরের ২ টা দ্বারা 23 সাল ( Year), তার পরের ২ টা 01 দ্বারা LC Code, শেষের ৪ টা 0167 (কম বেশি থাকতে পারে) LC number বুঝানো হয়।

Lc code : 01 ( Sight Lc)

Lc number : 0167
